Cheryl Wheeler Walker is currently the President of the Denver Colorado chapter of AALNC. Cheryl has lived in Colorado since 1999, her daytime employer is The Children's Hospital in the Neurology/Neurodiagnostics Ambulatory Clinic. Additionally, Cheryl works Per-Diem on Mom/Baby units at local hospitals and she is an Independent Legal Nurse Consultant.

Cheryl has been a nurse for 25 years with multiple areas of expertise including Pediatric Neurology, Labor and Delivery, Obstetrics (Prenatal and Post-partum) Newborn Nursery, Gynecology and Home care nursing.

In 2001, Cheryl began her practice as a Legal Nurse Consultant for a Plaintiff Attorney in Boulder, where she worked on medical malpractice and personal injury cases for several years. During that period of time Cheryl was a mentor to many legal nurse consultants in the Denver Metro area.
